| This recording is a "worship" album in more ways than one. It has come together a little like the Psalter in that some of the songs extol God while others cry out to Him. Some of the songs are arrangements of familiar hymns; others are new settings of less familiar hymn texts; and of course there's a fair amount of brand new material. All of the songs in one way or another show my passion and pursuit of God. They also reflect my Christian heritage growing up in a German-speaking Mennonite community in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada).
 Not only is the content worshipful, but the making of this album was truly an act of worship for me. I did it to glorify God with my heart and voice. My prayer is that these songs would call your attention to the Lord and cause you to think about Him.
